Kyocera Solar - Top Quality Photovoltaic Modules
Kyocera is a world-leading supplier of environmentally sound, solar electric energy solutions. The Australian subsidiary is part of the Japanese based Kyocera Corporation which is made up of over 200 companies, accounting for more than 60,000 employees.
Solar Panels from Kyocera won the Best Performance category with their 135 Watt Grid Tie solar panel and have recorded the highest average output of any multi-crystalline module. The tests were conducted at Desert Knowledge Solar Centre in central Australia.
Kyocera's entire product line of solar modules has also passed the Salt Mist Corrosion Test (IEC61701:2011 Edition 2, Severity Level 6), administered by TÜV Rheinland in Tempe, Arizona, which means the modules maintain performance even under very severe environmental conditions. Kyocera panels were also scrutinised by Fraunhofer Centre for Silicon Photovoltaics (Germany). All tests put Kyocera solar panels at the top of the range.
Kyocera's advanced cell-processing technology produces highly efficient multi-crystal photovoltaic modules. In 1984, Kyocera solar panels were installed in a 43kW grid feed system in Sakura, Japan. After almost 30 years, these panels have shown a degradation of just 11.9%, compared to an industry standard of 20%.
