Analogue Ammeter - Amperemeter - 100A with Shunt
Analogue Ammeter (Amperemeter).
A high quality 100 Amp analogue ammeter with a wide, easy to read scale. Very handy when you need to see a load from a distance.
Ammeters are connected in series with a circuit (never parallel) so that current flow passes through the meter. This ammeter comes with an external shunt - 100A, 50mV - to be placed in parallel with the ammeter. Only a few milliampere or so of current pass through the meter, while the shunt passes the extra current around it.
Can be mounted in a 50mm diameter (ø) round hole but look much better in a 86 x 37mm rectangular hole using the black surround provided (flush mount).
