Outback Remote Temperature Sensor
The Remote Temperature Sensor (RTS) measures battery temperature and is recommended for accurate battery charging with Outback FlexMax regulators.
The temperature of a battery has an impact on the recharging process, in higher ambient temperatures, the regulation set points (Absorb & Float) need to be reduced to prevent overcharging. In lower ambient temperature conditions, the voltage regulation set points need to be increased to ensure complete recharging of the batteries.
Note: During hot weather, Outback FlexMax regulators are smart enough to assure recharging continues at a high enough voltage rather than dropping too low in reaction to a higher ambient temperature.

For larger system we also go up to Brisbane or down to Coffs Harbour and even Glen Innes. Other places by arrangement.
