Solar Voltage Reducer - Solar Charge Adaptor

A nominal 12 Volt solar panel puts out ~18V. This voltage reducer takes a solar panel as an input and delivers a steady 5 Volt DC output.

The PhoneStick can be used to charge a small battery operated item (eg mobile phone, mp3 player, GPS, camera, etc) with a dedicated charge cable (sold separately). It is ideal for our j-Power product range.

The PhoneStick charge adaptor can supply a maximum of 1000 mA current and is protected against short circuit and overload. It can power any small device with a rated voltage of 4.5 - 6V DC.

The unit does not contain a built in battery and therefore cannot be used to power a radio or charge a phone after sunset. You can use the JouleStick for 'after-hour' applications.

The PhoneStick can be directly connected to any nominal 12 Volt solar panel or array (Vmpp = 17.5V) with a maximum power not exceeding 130W.

The adaptor cables can be used with the PhoneStick or JouleStick.
