Plasmatronics Remote Monitor "PLM"
The PLM remote monitor is a device which allows remote user access to a PL series charge controller.
It shows exactly the same information as the PL screen and the PLM button behaves in exactly the same way as the button on the PL. This means you can use the PLM for everything you would normally do at the PL itself, only in a more convenient or second location.
Additional Features:
LCD display with LED Back-lighting (auto off).
Low voltage alarm (visual or accustic)
Installation
The PLM can be mounted directly to timber or metal surfaces (screws are included). Standard 2000 series accessories can be used to mount it to plasterboard, masonry, and other surfaces. The PLM should be mounted vertically.
Connection to the PL is via a WY or WZ cable or a combination of both as appropriate. In general, use a WY for a PL20 or PL40 and a WZ for a PL60. You can order a WZ or WY made to the length you need. The PLM is connected via an RJ11 socket on the hidden side. If you want to rough in the wiring in advance of the installation (for example while your walls are being built) use a four conductor flat telephone cable or another cable of a type you can crimp an RJ11 plug to.

Limitations-
The PLM can be used with up to 100 metres of cable (not supplied - POA) , and up to two other PL accessories. For example you could use the PLM with 1 X PLI and 1 X PLS2 or with 2 X PLS2, but not all three at the same time.
Please note this remote monitor will not work with the Plasmatronics Dingo regulator.

For larger system we also go up to Brisbane or down to Coffs Harbour and even Glen Innes. Other places by arrangement.
