Battery Isolator Smart Start - Redarc - 12V 100A
Redarc Battery Isolator
A battery isolator divides direct current (DC) into two branches to charge a starter and a deep cycle battery simultaneously. Battery isolators are commonly used in motor homes, campervans or other recreational vehicles as well as boats or yachts. The isolator ensures that the starter battery of your vehivle does not get drained by accessory loads e.g. camping fridges, which should be connected to the auxiliary (deep cycle) battery. Isolators are also used in vehicles with large, high-power car stereos and off road vehicles to accommodate high current loads such as a recovery winch.
