Recommended for 1.5 mm² ordinary duty 2 core flexible cords.
This type of socket is also known as Flat Pin T Connector or similar. Used in a large percentage of extra-low voltage households (stand-alone power system) or on boats.
Note: The Australian standard is that the horizontal pin is the positive terminal (and the vertical is negative). However, in Victoria the top of the T is taken to look like a minus sign, and is therefore negative.
