Soma 13m Tower Kit Less Pipe
Galvanised 13m Winch-Tilt Tower Kit (excl. pipes)
The finished tower consists of 2 x 6.5 metre lengths of galvanised pipe (NOT included) supported by guy wires. The wind turbine can be assembled on the ground and then easily raised with this hinged tower. Total ground area: 9.2m x 9.2m.
Generally 2 lengths of pipe (NOT included) are used to provide a 13 metre tower. The tower requires concrete foundations and it pivots at the base to enable it to be raised and lowered for ease of installation and maintenance of the wind generator. A jockey pole or gin pole is used for leverage to raise the tower and a winch is secured to one of the guy wire foundations to winch the tower up and down.
The tower kit excludes the actual poles/pipes. Poles required are:
2 x 65mm NB 6.5m med. wall gal tube
1 x 50mm NB 6.5m gal tube

For larger system we also go up to Brisbane or down to Coffs Harbour and even Glen Innes. Other places by arrangement.
