Energy from Nature Home P/L is pleased to offer the Remote Area Power Supply systems design course developed originally by the Sustainable Energy Industry Association of Australia (SEIAA) which is now the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE).
Up until this year we were able to provide successful participants of the course with certificates that enabled the accredited designer and installer to design and install stand-alone power systems for government subsidy schemes such as the Qld RAPS subsidy, the NSW SEDA subsidy and the AGO (Federal) RAPS subsidy.
Unfortunately, this is now no longer the case. Students are now required to do a 2 year TAFE course on Renewable Energy, and it appears that there are very few TAFE Colleges that can provide a certificate to the successful student. The entire course happens over a 5 day period. Cost $700, including registration. Location The Training Course for Designers of RAPS Systems is held at the premises of the Rainbow Power Company, 1 Alternative Way, Nimbin, northern NSW.
