NSW Solar Bonus Scheme Rally Announced

11 May 2011
Category: Renewable Energy

The NSW solar industry has been left in limbo for over a week, with approved customers not knowing whether they will be eligible to join the NSW solar bonus scheme.

AuSES says it has been compelled to launch a campaign that will culminate in a mass rally on either Tuesday the 17th or Wednesday the 18th of May at 11:30am (date to be confirmed), unless the NSW Government makes a positive announcement before that time.

Rainbow Power Company encourages all solar grid feed customers to work together so that our voice can be heard. Email your local member, tell them you support a fair price for renewables, tell them how much you have invested and what would happen if they scrapped the scheme. Tell them that you want supportive policies that promote the use of renewable energy and to phase out support for the polluting coal and nuclear industry.

It’s time in NSW to stand up and be counted.
