This grid connect solar system and savings calculator is the result of 29 years in the solar industry. While not every possibility can be covered, we believe the calculator returns an adequate solar system based on your needs.

The graphs display average figures. Energy usage is usually more volatile; also the actual energy output of a solar system rarely looks this even. Factors that influence the performance include (but are not limited to):

  • Weather (sunshine or cloudy)
  • Time of year (summer or winter)
  • Shading

The savings calculation assumes a moderate consumer price index (CPI) of 2.5% and decreasing panel efficiency of 1% per year. The actual electricity price increases over the last few years were significantly higher. If prices continue to go up as they have in the past your savings will even be higher.
