Off-Grid Solar Power
Living Off Grid
Stand alone solar power solutions for those who are not able or willing to be connected to the electricity grid. Here you find energy solutions for small households to large office buildings.
Over the years Rainbow Power Company designed and installed thousands of stand-alone power systems using quality components. Each solar system is unique and should be tailored to your needs and geographic location.
We have compiled a variety of off-the-grid solar system examples and grouped them as
- Take Away Systems
- DIY Solar Systems
- Value Solar Systems
- Residential Solar Systems
- Large/Commercial Solar Systems
Each system can (and should) be customised to reflect your energy consumption. Fill-in / adjust our easy-to-use quote form to receive an obligation-free system estimate.
Small solar system kits - ideal for sheds, car ports, temporary job-sites or bush cabins.
The Take Away Solar Systems are always in stock, ready to be shipped to anywhere in Australia and beyond.
Compact and flexible solar kits for cabins, weekenders, stationary caravans, sheds, garages or beach huts.
DIY Solar Systems are compact off-grid solar systems that can be installed with little effort (instructions included). Our DIY systems can supply lots of energy (3000+ Wh per day) at a budget price.
Value Off-Grid Solar Systems are entry-level residential power systems, large enough to supply an efficient household with renewable energy.
State-of-the-art solar power systems for typical Australian households (up to 7.5 kWh per day).
Latest German technology is at the heart of our residential solar power systems. During the day, the generated solar electricity directly powers 230V devices. Hence these solar systems require less battery capacity.
State-of-the-art solar power systems for large households or businesses.
We use the same state-of-the-art components as for our residential systems, and even better batteries. large/commercial solar power systems are modular and can grow with your energy needs (up to 300kW !).
An newly purchased solar system - when installed by accredited technicians (like us) – may be eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs). The current, combined value of those STCs is often enough to pay for the professional installation.
