Installing & Connecting Sundaya Solar Kits
Sundaya solar systems are intuitive and easy to install. Since most of Sundaya’s target customers are located in remote areas they have dedicated a lot of attention to optimise the design of the products and installation materials.
Transport cost from a typical Sundaya installation site to the nearest hardware or workshop is many times more expensive than a 'bolt and nut' or 'drilling a hole'. Hence Sundaya offers complete and simple kits that can be installed with the most basic of tools.

Solar Panel, Frame & Support Structure:
Sundaya PV Modules can be mounted on your roof using one of two types of mount: Fixed or Flexible.
The Fixed Module Support is the basic type where a straight pole supports the PV module at an almost level position. The construction of the support structure is made of precisely extruded and engineered aluminium components (consisting of angles, bracket and pole), and the assembly steps are very easy to follow, making mounting the panel on the roof very simple.
The Flexible Module Support gives further possibility of slightly tilting the panel and rotating on the pole's axis, allowing optimisation of the insolation angle.
The Module cable goes inside the pole, to be plugged to the rest of the system. After mounting the module on the pole, you can then fasten the bolts on the bracket to lock it in position. Note the different mounting steps depending on the roof construction of the house. For rooftops with tiles, you can shape, puncture and place the zinc plate provided, replacing the tile it occupies.

Sundaya's DCS Cabling System
Sundaya’s DC Cabling Systems (DCS), based on the Plug & Play concept, is a smart solution for installing Decentralised Power System. The unique shape of the cable ensures use of correct polarity. The system has its own specialised switches, fittings and connectors that can be installed using basic tools.
To prevent accidents in households where both 12V DC and 240V AC installations co-exists, Sundaya has developed a special DC standard armature range, with a fitting size that is in between the most common E27 and E14 AC standard. All Sundaya lamp fittings are standardised for 12V DC using 17mm Edison Screw (E17) fitting.
The E17 range is unique because with only a few components and various lampshades you can build any lamp for any lighting purpose you require in your home or office, on the ceiling or wall.
