Most of our pumps are 12/24 volt. They are smaller and typically draw 40 - 80 Watts. You don't need an inverter to run them. Most use diaphragms which makes them very efficient; however, they need periodic maintenance and the diaphragm may tear in abrasive conditions.

240V pumps are much larger (usually 200 - 800W) but they will run three or more taps at once. They are often cheaper than the low voltage type but you would need quite a large inverter to run the pump. This could add several hundred watts (= several hundred dollars) for a larger inverter.  If you choose a 240V pump we recommend a 300W Grundfos pump which comes with a pressure tank.

Grundfos Pumps

The Grundfos SQFlex pump range consists of 10 different pump sizes: 4 helical rotor pumps for medium to high heads and low to medium flows, and 6 centrifugal pumps for shallow heads and high flows. It is available in two different stainless steel material variants: type AISI 304 as standard and type AISI 316 for slightly aggressive water. The pump is fitted with a high-efficiency motor for DC or AC voltage. This makes pump sizing and selection extremely easy. Installation is a breeze, too. SHURflo Submersible Bore Pump 24V

SHURflo 9325 solar powered submersible pumps are rugged, durable and ideal for remote homes and cabins, irrigation, livestock watering and ponds. Works from solar modules with or without battery storage via a Pumping Maximiser.

Jabsco Par-Max

The ideal pump for providing freshwater on pleasure craft up to approximately the 10 metre range. 3 chamber automatic pressure pump gives flow up to 11 litres per minute (2.9 Gallons). Serves up to 3 outlets including galley, shower and additional faucet.

The Jabsco Par-Max gives very smooth water flow even at low demand due to its built-in pulsation dampening by-pass valve which controls unwanted cycling and reduces noise.

Johnson Viking Power 16

Specifically designed to pump waste water, the Johnson Viking Power 16 is an ultramodern, single-chamber self-priming diaphragm pump that can be set up in several different pump/motor configurations.

Perfect for installation in tight spaces, the Viking Power 16 can be installed anywhere after the drain outlet in the waste water system or as a bilge pump in any leisure craft.

Johnson Aqua Jet Flow Master

The Johnson Aqua Jet Flow Master is a five chamber positive displacement diaphragm pump that is an ideal choice for pressurising water in a closed system such as that found in a house, boat or recreational vehicle. The digital controller adjusts water flow as the demand is increased and decreased whilst maintaining a very smooth flow. The unique variable flow feature of the Flow Master pump allows it to be installed without an accumulator tank and still maintain an even flow regardless if one or more taps are being used. This pump comes complete with a filter.

Davies-Craig Magnetic Drive Circulating Pump
