This box is the "bare bone" component of our Power Cube. To make it a fully operational solar system you have to add a solar panel (140W-380W) with corresponding MC connectors, and a suitable deep cycle battery (100 - 260Ah). The box is designed for 1 or 2 Ritar 100 or 120Ah, a pair of 260Ah Leochs (all sealed AGM) batteries or our Trojan (wet cell) batteries. Please consult the Power Cube calculator to compile a complete solar system.
The box is pre-wired with a switch board containing six circuit breakers:
1 x50A dual pole, 1 x 40A, 3 x 16A, 1 x 6A
The components of this bare bone package are:
- stylish wooden battery box
- a 15A Victron MPPT charge controller
- digital volt meter
- cigarette lighter socket + dual USB outlet
- Sundaya Hub5 connector
- 8 pole distribution box with breakers
- 7m solar cable (with MC4 connectors)
- Internal cabling
- Anderson plug for optional inverter
Again: This is not a complete solar system. You need to add a solar panel and a battery.
Max outside dimensions (mm): 510(W) x485(D) x 400(H)
Min inside size (mm): 435(W) x 350(D) x 320(H)
We install solar systems in Northern NSW and Southern QLD.
QLD: Gold Coast (from Coolangatta to Southport), Nerang and Hinterland (Beaudesert) and out West (Warwick, Stanthorpe, Killarney)
NSW: Northern NSW (Tweed Heads to Yamba, including Evans Head, Byron Bay and Ballina); the Far North Coast Hinterland (Grafton via Lismore to Murwillumbah) and out West (Casino to Tenterfield, including Drake and Tabulam, as well as Woodenbong and Bonalbo)
For larger system we also go up to Brisbane or down to Coffs Harbour and even Glen Innes. Other places by arrangement.
