Solar Voltage Reducer - Solar Charge Adaptor

A nominal 12 Volt solar panel puts out ~18V. This voltage reducer takes a solar panel as an input and delivers a steady 5 Volt DC output on a standard USB port.

The USB PhoneStick can be used to charge a small battery operated item (eg mobile phone, mp3 player, GPS, camera, etc) using the device's own USB charge cable.

The USB PhoneStick charge adaptor can supply a maximum of 1000 mA current and is protected against short circuit and overload. It can power any small device with a rated voltage of 4.5 - 6V DC.

The unit does not contain a built in battery and therefore cannot be used to power a radio or charge a phone after sunset. The adaptor is meant to be used with j-Power lighting kit or with Sundaya solar panels [SUN-XS050, SUN-XS100, SUN-XS200].

Rated input voltage: 15 - 25V DC
Nominal Output: 5V DC
Maximum output current: 1000mA
Dimensions (mm): 55(L) x 22(ø)
