Fronius International
Fronius was established by Günter Fronius in Pettenbach, Austria, in 1945. Today, Fronius employs over 3000 people in over 20 countries including Australia.
Initially, Fronius produced battery chargers and welding transformers but added a "solar division" in 1992, which by now makes some of the most efficient and innovative solar inverters in the world.
From Fronius' website: "For over 60 years the name Fronius has stood for intensive research and the constant search for new, innovative solutions. The perfect efficiency of every product has repeatedly been awarded both national and international prizes."
To prove that point, Fronius offers warranty extensions of up to 20 years on many of its inverters.
