Grundfos SQFlex Solar Pump Systems
The SQFlex system is a reliable water supply system based on renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy. The SQFlex system incorporates an SQF submersible pump.
Being designed for continuous as well as intermittent operation, the SQFlex system is especially suitable for water supply applications in remote locations.
SQFlex System Components
Only the main components are listed here. You can also integrate batteries (with charge controllers), wind turbines, diesel/petrol generators, pressure switches, etc. Contact us for more information.
SQF Pump
The SQF pump range is made of type 316 stainless steel and comprises two pump technologies:
- helical rotor pump (3") for high heads and small flows
- centrifugal pump (4") for low heads and large flows
CU 200 SQFlex control unit
The CU 200 is a combined status and control unit for the SQFlex pump system. Moreover, the CU 200 enables connection of a level switch placed in a water reservoir or tank.
IO 101 SQFlex switch box
The IO 101 is an on/off switch box designed for switching the system power supply on and off. The switch box is used in solar-powered SQFlex systems that incorporates a backup generator.
System Sizing
All you need now is a power generator. Most solar panels will do the job as long as they are stringed up correctly and deliver 30-300V DC and enough power. Please have a look at our example solar powered bore pump systems.
