Ritar RA Series - Sealed Batteries
Ritar RA series batteries are compact, valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) batteries - perfect as an auxiliary battery in caravans, boats or motor homes. Ritar RA series deep cycle batteries are used in small solar systems, uninterruptible power supplies or for emergency lighting. Available as a single 12V battery in 33 to 260 Amp Hour capacity.
With heavy duty grid, thickness plates and special additives, Ritar RA VRLA series batteries have a long and reliable standby service life. They batteries can be stored for more than 6 months at 25°C with a self-discharge ratio of less than 3% per month (at 25°C).
As a rule of thumb, battery capacity is proportional to battery size. However, the technology used in the RA series lifts power density to a considerable level (for a battery of this size). Ritar RA batteries are rated ~1400 cycles @ 20% Depth of Discharge (when your battery remains 80% full).
Low pressure venting system, designed to release excess gas and keep the internal pressure within the optimum range for safe and efficient performance.
Proprietary technical processes are used into the grid alloy and electrolyte additives, so that the battery can be recharged easily to a normal level even after being over-discharged. However, discharges deeper than 50% are not recommended.
The battery container is strong and compact. Most models are quite flat to fit in caravan compartments, under the bonnet or other confined spaces.
Ritar RA Series batteries meet IEC, JIS .BS and Eurobat standards.
