Full of pioneering technology: highly flexible plant design with the three-phase Sunny TriPower inverter from SMA. Thanks to Optiflex technology, two MPP inputs and a broad input voltage range, it is suited to almost any module configuration. The 20 and 25K inverters even handle three strings per input. It meets any requirement such as reactive power supply, grid support thus reliably participating in grid management. The safety concept Optiprotect with self-learning string-failure detection, electronic string fuse and integrable DC surge arrester, type II ensures maximum availability.
To create a multi-megawatt PV plant, users can connect the AC output of multiple Sunny TriPower devices to a medium-voltage transformer for grid interconnection and feed-in. This modular approach to plant configuration results in decreased installation costs, improved design flexibility, and increased energy production for the life of the PV plant. Upgrades
The 15 kW to 25 kW TriPower inverters can be upgraded with a piggy back module to allow communication via a modem through RS485 port.
