The Sundaya T-Lite & Ulitium Light kit systems consist of very simple, modular parts that you can connect together to form an affordable, expandable and energy-efficient off-grid lighting and charging installation. The energy consumption of the lamps are very low (T-Lite: 2.22W, Ulitium: 2.77W) hence they do not require large solar panels, making the Sundaya Ulitium and T-Lite range the best choice for solar DC lighting.

How does j-Power work?

The solar panel is designed to be mounted on a rigid pole, on the rooftop, or on the outer wall of your house. A hub is used to connect between the solar panel(s) and the T-Lite and/or Ulitium light(s). The actual light is designed to be suspended from the ceiling. Every Ulitium has a Cord Pull Switch with several dim functions. The T-Lite has a soft-touch on/off switch with stepless dimming. During operation, both of these models are programmed to prolong usage by a built-in auto-dim feature.

All Sundaya j-Power LED solar light kits include a solar panel with mounting bracket and 4.8 metres of cable, a Hub, 1 to 4 LED lamp with integrated switch and inbuilt lithium ion battery as well as 1 to 4 x 4.8 metres DC cable with bayonet plugs.

All components can also be purchased separately should you want to expand your system further.

Energy Consumption

Fully-charged and at 100% brightness the operating hours for the T-Lite can exceed 7.5 hours (Ulitium 6 hours). At minimum brightness it can last over 75 hours (Ulitium 60 hours). The lamps will gradually dim themselves to allow an extra amount of operating time. Batteries are replaceable. View Ulitium Energy Usage Chart.

You can expand your system up to 130W, with hubs, lights or phone chargers to suit. Make sure you have enough panels to 'feed' the lithium batteries (about 3.5W per light). Spread any additional solar panels and hubs evenly across your system to prevent voltage drop. We also have little pocket batteries that can be charged with a j-Power setup. The battery fits in any purse - take it anywhere to charge small items (eg mobile phone, GPS, tablets).
